Annual Water Disinfection and Flushing Program Begins

The City will temporarily stop adding ammonia during the water treatment disinfection process beginning March 17.  The purpose of this temporary change in process is to ensure high level of disinfection in our community's water mains. Flushing of the mains will begin on or about March 20 and continue through May 2017. Customers may notice some minor discoloration in their water when flushing crews are working in their area.  If this occurs, customers are advised to flush faucets for a few minutes until water runs clear.
