Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan developed by the George Washington Regional Commission is open to public comment. The Commission serves the localities of Caroline, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. The plan is a five year document where the jurisdictions outline impacts from natural disasters and identify items to move towards improving resiliency to those hazards. It is required to be updated by FEMA on the five year cycle. Public comments can be directed to GWRC Executive Director Tim Ware at ware@gwregion.org
