Erosion and Sediment Control

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Soil and Water Conservation Board which has developed a program and promulgate regulations for the effective control of soil erosion, sediment deposition and nonagricultural runoff which must be met in any control program to prevent the unreasonable degradation of properties, stream channels, waters and other natural resources. The City has adopted and administered an Erosion and Sediment Control Program consistent with the State program, Control Law, Regulations and Certification Regulations.
