Design Standards Manual


Site development shall be in accordance with City Codes and State standards, some design standards are provided for the following topics and the Design Standards Manual is currently being updated;

 

  • City Standards Manual – Water and Sewage     
  • Fire Department Details
  • Landscaping – Refer to City Code Section 78
  • E&S – Refer to VESCH and City Code Section 78, Article V
  • Site Development Standards – Refer to City Code Section 78
  • Floodplain Management – Refer to City Code Section 78, Division 25
  • Wetlands – Refer to City Code Section 78, Article VI
  • Site plan notes-RLD required, HUC, PASS, Chesbay statement 
  • Signs-required as per city code.
  • ADA requirements-as per the American National Standard, Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities, ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003
  • As-Builts-required after completion of all site work.
  • Lighting-required as per city code.
  • Roads, Parking and traffic improvements-as required per city code.
