Recycling and Refuse Collection

To sign up for service (billed bi-monthly), please contact Utility billing: http://www.fredericksburgva.gov/Departments/UtilityBilling/index.aspx?id=104

 

Holidays

There is no curbside collection on the following holidays and the Belman Road Recycling Center and the Stafford landfill are closed:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

 

Additional government holidays (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day) may affect curbside collection schedules. 

 

Alternate collection schedules will be posted for each holiday affecting curbside service on this website in the Press Room, in The Free Lance-Star, on Cox Channel 24, or you may call 372-1023 for your alternate collection day.
