Wall of Honor

Fredericksburg's Wall of Honor was unveiled and dedicated on August 22, 2000, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 715 Princess Anne Street. Each year the Memorials Advisory Commission recommends to the City Council the names of up to five citizens deceased for at least five years who have made outstanding contributions to the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Commission relies upon public nominations to determine which individuals to honor.

If you would like to nominate someone and need an application, please communicate with City Clerk/Clerk of Council Deborah H. Naggs, using the contact information provided below, or fill out and print the online Wall of Honor Application (readable with Adobe Acrobat*).

Completed applications should be returned to the City Clerk/Clerk of Council Mary C. Smith. Mailed and hand-delivered applications are equally acceptable.
