The Utility Billing Office of the City of Fredericksburg offers refuse collection to City residents for a fee. Refuse collection is available two days a week year round, with the exception of certain holidays. Curb-side recycling is also available to residents; recycling is collected one day a week, year round. Contact the office for an application for each service. Click for trash collection guidelines.
The City operates a drop-off refuse and recycling center in the Fredericksburg Battlefield Industrial Park. Click for hours and directions.
Public water/sewer service is offered to City residents. New residents should contact us to establish an account before occupancy. A refundable deposit is required. Utility bills are mailed bimonthly on the 28th of the month.
