CITIZEN RESPONSE TO ACTIVE SHOOTER EVENTS

The Police Department understands that faith-based communities, businesses, and schools strive to promote an open and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring a safe and secure institution. The Department has developed a safety and crime prevention program specifically designed to meet your unique needs which include:

• Safety and crime prevention assessment of the facility and ground
• Training seminar for key staff that includes developing safety policy and procedures
• Training class for members of the congregation, students and citizens that includes personal safety and response to active shooter incidents
