The City of Fredericksburg provides for the special valuation and assessment of real property which is devoted to agricultural, horticultural, forestry, or open space uses. Certain acreage and use requirements must be met. An application must be filed in the Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue at least sixty days preceding the tax year for which such taxation is sought.
