Fredericksburg Fire Chief Mike Jones provides an overview of Testing and Vaccine resources, as well as COVID-19 case numbers, for our area for Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
The Rappahannock Area Health Department is conducting COVID-19 Testing at Dixon Park, 1300 Dixon Street, every Thursday from 2pm to 5pm. The test they administer is the PCR Test. Currently they are not taking any walk-ups/drive-ups, so everyone needs to register beforehand. Register online at: www.vdh.virginia.gov/rappahannock/covid19testing
NEW - Fredericksburg Community TESTING Center opens Monday, January 24. Hours will be Monday through Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm at the FredNats Stadium, 42 Jackie Robinson Way.
NEW - Request 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests per household through the USPS. You may request these by going to the following link and providing your address information: https://special.usps.com/testkits

Everyone 5 years and older is eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations. All adults are eligible for booster shots. To schedule your appointment at the Community Vaccination Center at 1877 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Central Park, please go online at https://vase.vdh.virginia.gov and type in "22401" in the zip code box. The CVC is open Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
Parents may sign up at for other locations at vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682). TTY users can call 711. Assistance is available in English, Spanish, and more than 100 other languages. Appointments are required at this time and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
