Part one of the Fall Hill Avenue Transportation Improvement Project got underway in April, 2013 beginning with the bid process, contractor selection, and contract award in May to American Infrastructure for the construction of the new bridge. Work not requiring road closure commenced in June 2013. The current bridge will be closed down to traffic on or shortly after Monday, February 3, 2014.
