*UPDATE 9/27* College Avenue between Payne and Rowe streets will be completely closed to traffic beginning Monday, September 30, at 7 a.m. and continuing through the week until Friday, October 4, at 5 p.m. due to extensive utility work in and around the street. As a result, the sidewalk closest to UMW will remain closed during this time, while the sidewalk on the neighborhood side will remain open. The original detoured route will resume after 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4
