[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree collection will take place the week of January 8-12, 2018


Various types of refuse will be taken in small quantities only and articles larger than 16 cubic feet and heavier than 75 pounds will not be collected. All loose trash must be bagged, boxed, or tied for easy handling.

All refuse must be placed at the curb no later than 7:30 am, January 8th. Subscription to the City's regular trash service is not required for this special collection.   

Items that will not be collected include:

• Household garbage
• Paints
• Brush piles
• Hazardous materials
• Building materials

Please make sure your Christmas tree is placed at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m., on Monday, January 8th. City crews will collect Christmas trees during the week of January 8 -12, 2018. 

 This is the only time that Christmas trees will be picked up. Special crews will pick up trees separate from other collection items. Christmas trees will not be picked up with your regular trash service.
