How do I set up a new account?
The Utility Billing Office processes water, sewer, refuse collection and recycling for the properties with Zip Code of 22401 only. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. applications can be processed in the Utility Billing Office located at:
715 Princess Anne St.
Room 113
Fredericksburg, VA 22401.

Applications can also be faxed to 540-372-1215 or emailed.

All applications require the signature of the applicant before being processed. A water service cannot be set up via telephone. A deposit is required for all accounts; deposit amounts depend on meter sizes. Equifax credit reporting service can determine if a deposit can be waived. All commercial accounts require a deposit.
