The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for Grounds Maintenance for the City of Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation and Events Department, (herein after referred to as FPRE) in accordance with the Specifications, and Terms and Conditions identified herein.  Work also will include select public building sites maintained by the City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) as well as mowing along certain sections of Right-of-way maintained by the DPW.
